Ladies!
Hi Friends! I posted an excerpt from this book before but I wanted to again point out how awesome it is. My moms' Bible study just finished it and the Lord has really taught me a lot through it. I really recommend it. Click here for more info on the author.
Also, moms and moms-to-be: for those of you who are/will be nursing, I want to recommend these nursing pads (some of you have already heard this from me). Since we do have some male readers, I'll leave it by saying, They are awesome: www.danishwool.com. Check it out and email me with any questions. Thanks to my mother-in-law for finding them and my sister-in-law Stacey for passing them on to me!!

Yay for Yaya!
We had a last-minute visitor here at the Bennett house... my mom came to visit for a week when her planned cruise was canceled due to the fires in SD! We had a really fun time (although we were bummed that Papa couldn't come). Gigi and I loved spending time with her during the day when we are usually alone, and David and I loved the extra help around the house!
We all took the Light Rail to Downtown Denver, had lunch and walked around the 16th Street Mall.Mom helped me & my friend Kelley with some quilting projects! Gigi likes fabric!
Yaya's idea- let Gigi play in the laundry basket, like cousin Riley used to do! Gigi thought it was quite fun.
The three generations! (We didn't even plan to match so well!)

Shopping!
I haven't done my own post in quite a while, and since I arrived at a milestone today, I thought I'd share about it with you. Today I rode in the cart like a big girl for the first time! Thanks to my Auntie Em for the sweet cart liner! Mommy and I bought some yummy goodies at Whole Foods and I had a great time sucking on all my toys. Here's a picture of me in the produce department (it's not the best quality because Mommy took it with her phone).P.S. If you'd like to, you can read my updated profile here. I'm very technologically-savvy for a 6-month old, you know.

News Flash!
I've added a new feature to the blog! For those of you who don't already subscribe to blog feeds using something like Google Reader or your Yahoo email account (which I recommend if you read a lot of blogs like me), you will find it very easy and convenient to subscribe to our blog by entering your email address in the box on the left-hand side, under Gigi's picture.
This way, every time we update our blog, you will receive an email telling you, so you can come check out what's going on in the Bennett world. It's simple- just put in your email address and you will receive an email to verify from FeedBlitz. Just click on the link in the email, and voilá! You'll start to receive updates about our blog. They send out emails in the early morning and you'll only receive an email if I posted something the day before.
Once you click the link to activate it, you'll read that they share your information with the "publisher"- don't worry, that's just me! That way I know who is subscribed to our blog- they don't share your info with anyone else.

Our first "real" fall!
Gigi shares Daddy's Mountain Dew while watching the World Series (just kidding! Although she did like holding on to the can!).
With October finished, we are now finally understanding the true meaning of "fall"- as there are leaves everywhere! On one day, our neighbor spent a while cleaning up all the leaves in his yard and then within a couple of hours, the yard was full again after a few gusts of wind! It has been really pretty though. We've only had that one day of snow (scroll down for pictures if you never saw them), and the weather has been really up and down, some days never get out of the 40s and then yesterday it was in the 70s!
Here are the pictures from October here in Colorado. Included are our pictures from the NL Wildcard Tiebreaker game we went to, our snow day, visiting my friend Sharla, along with many cute shots of Gigi and the October birthdays here- David's, Blair's, and Brooke's.

Fun Gmail Video
This video proves that the people who work at Google have way to much fun working (and we've heard how cool it is from our friend Daphnie's sister who works there). Anyways, since I love gmail so much, I just had to post this fun video that the Google Folks put together, editing together many clips that were submitted by gmail users in response to a starter video that Google made.
